Kugelis from Lithuania
Gabija from Ms. Bernard's brought in Kugelis for the class to taste. Her mom cooked it. It is a traditional dish from her parent's home country of Lithuania.
Gabija is pointing to Lithuania on the map. All of the children enjoyed tasting the food. It was mainly potatoes cooked with chicken and milk. Thanks Gabija.
CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS - 2016
Ms. O'Dea's 3rd Class made a beautiful Christmas Village and Nativity Poster..
Mrs Bernard's 4th class made cards last week for our Erasmus partner school in Spain . We got help with translation from our Spanish classmate Paula !!! Feliz Navidad !

Thanks to Ms. Shine, our EAL teacher for updating our Heritage Site....keeping us all well informed of the many traditions that children in our school celebrate.
JUNIOR INFANT COFFEE MORNING
Ms. Shine, our EAL Teacher hosted a tea/coffee morning for our new Junior Infant pupils in the school hall on the 10th, 11th and 13th of October.
CHINESE NEW YEAR
Tara O'Brien from Ms. Bernards 4th class brought in Chinese Fortune Cookies and a Moon Cake to celebrate Happy Moon Day, Sept 2016.
